This page explains what personal data OctaHr collects on octahr.africa and how employee data is handled in the product. We handle personal data under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019.

On this website

When you book a demo we collect:

• Your name, work email and phone number
• Your company, country and staff count

We use these only to arrange and follow up on the demo. We also record which pages are visited and which buttons are used, to improve the site.

In the product

Employers use OctaHr to process their employees' HR and payroll data. For that data, the employer decides what is collected and why, and OctaHr processes it on their instructions. Employees should contact their employer first about their records.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you
• Correct data that is wrong
• Delete data we no longer need
• Stop using your data for a purpose you object to
